一、实验室介绍
西湖大学理学院国际极化激元研究中心，是将三大研究团队的专业和资源融合在一起的世界领先的研究中心：其中有晶体生长和制造团队、以Konstantinos Lagoudakis博士为首的光谱技术团队以及以Alexey Kavokin教授为首的理论团队。中心将生产用于极化激元研究和应用的低维多层半导体结构：强耦合光-物质系统的物理学。晶体生长设施将包括分子束外延和化学气相沉积反应器以及激光烧蚀技术。将用高空间分辨率的超快光谱技术对初始半导体结构进行表征。将在液氦温度下在存在高达7T的磁场的情况下进行光学实验。预期结果包括极化激元激射和超流动性、极化激元模拟器、基于极化激元的非经典光源、极化激元感应的超导电性。理论团队将负责设计新结构，对其量子光学性质进行建模，以及开发新的装置理念。基于每天的建模定期向实验给出的反馈而进行理论-实验配合，反之亦然。

二、招聘岗位
行政主管
招聘人数：1人
岗位职责:
1）代表实验室与学校各职能部门和学院行政办公室进行对接及沟通，领导由4至5名行政助理组成的行政团队，为3名外籍教授和15名外籍研究人员提供支持。
2) 负责中心的各类行政事务，财务事务以及人力资源事务。
3) 负责中心国际活动的组织，项目管理，财务预决算以及各种行政活动的日常协调。
4) 有时需要在办公时间以外进行工作，并且可能需要参加国内外因公出差。
5) 其他中心依据建设需要的工作职责。

（1）具有物理学等相关专业本科及以上学位；
（2）具有固态光学、量子光学、晶体生长和制造等实验室研究的工作经验；

Job Advertisement：International Center for Polaritonics, School of Science
1. Introduction about the Lab
The International Center for Polaritonics is designed as a world-leading research center that combines the expertise and resources of three major research groups: the Quantum Optoelectronics group headed by Dr. Pavlos Savvidis, the Quantum Nanoscience group headed by Dr. Konstantinos Lagoudakis and the Theory group headed by Professor Alexey Kavokin who also provides the overall leadership and strategic planning.
The Center will produce low-dimensional multilayer semiconductor structures for the research and applications in Polaritonics: the physics of strongly coupled light-matter systems. The crystal growth facilities will include the molecular beam epitaxy and chemical vapor deposition reactors as well as the laser ablation technology. The original semiconductor structures will be characterized by means of the ultrafast optical spectroscopy with high spatial resolution. The optical experiments will be performed at the liquid Helium temperature and in the presence of magnetic fields up to 7T. The anticipated results will include polariton lasing and superfluidity, polariton simulators, polariton based sources of non-classical light, polariton-induced superconductivity. The theoretical group will contribute to the design of new structures, modelling of their quantum optical properties, development of new device concepts. The theory-experiment cooperation will be conducted on an everyday basis with regular feedbacks from modelling to the experiment and vice-versa. The Center will serve as a platform for a wide-scale international cooperation. Every year it will host tens of scientists coming from the world-leading universities of the USA, EU, Russia and Asia. The Center will host international research meetings, conferences and schools.

1) Position:Administrative Supervisor, number of vacancy: 1
2) Job Responsibilities:
A. Serve as an interface between the research center and the university administration, lead a dedicated group of 4-5 administrative assistants providing support to 3 international professors and over 15 research staff.
B. Responsible for the administrative and financial issues as well as the human resources of the Center.
C. Responsible for organization of international events, project management, financial planning and everyday coordination of a multitude of administrative activities.
D. Occasionally, a work beyond office hours will be required, and may involve national and international travel.
E. Other job responsibilities based on Center needs.
3) Job Requirements:
A. Bachelor's degree or above in physics and other related majors.
B. Work experience in laboratory on solid-state optics, quantum optics, crystal growth and manufacturing.
C. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
D. Responsible, proactive, well-organized, and meticulous in details with a can-do attitude.
