In the morning of 5 September 2019, Tian Xu, the Vice President of Westlake University held an important meeting with Anzor Saralidze, the President of Vladimir State University. Also, at that meeting were Li Deng, the Executive Dean of School of Science, Alexey Kavokin, the Chair Professor and the Dean of the International Center for Polaritonics of School of Science, Stella Kutrovskaya, the senior research scientist of the International Center for Polaritonics of School of Science. The result of that meeting was the first Memorandum of Understanding signed between two units.

The cooperation between School of Science of Westlake University and Vladimir State University will be in the field of research programs, student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, and co-sponsored conferences in the future. 

       2019年9月5日上午，西湖大学副校长许田与弗拉基米尔国立大学校长Anzor Saralidze举行重要会晤。此外，参会者包括理学院执行院长邓力、讲席教授及理学院国际极化激元研究中心主任Alexey Kavokin、理学院国际极化激元研究中心研究员Stella Kutrovskaya。会议上双方签署了合作备忘录。

       合作备忘录指出，西湖大学理学院与弗拉基米尔州立大学将在研究项目、学生交流项目、科研人员交流项目和共同主办会议等领域展开密切合作。
